EasyJet raises revenue forecast

An increase in the number of passengers trading down to low-cost airlines and the strength of the euro have helped EasyJet boost first-quarter revenues by almost a third.

The low-cost airline raised its forecast for first-half turnover but warned that the outlook for the summer was more uncertain because of sterling weakness and the challenging economic environment.
