Scots praise role of ethnic minorities

Ethnic minorities are real wealth generators for Scotland, making a significant contribution to business start-ups and job creation, according to a minister in the Scottish executive.

People from minority communities were more than twice as likely to be self-employed than the white Scottish population, Margaret Curran, minister for parliamentary business, said yesterday.
