Pets At Home considers sale or IPO next year

Pets At Home, the national pet shop chain, is considering a sale or initial public offering next year.

Bridgepoint, the private equity owner since 2004, is believed to be seeking a price of about £650m ($1.4bn) for the business, which has enjoyed fast growth in the past three years.
