Chinese industry begins to look west for acquisitions

Chinese industry has been sucking in so much foreign cash to build new factories that it is easy to overlook the handful of acquisitions being made by the country's manufacturers.

But the trickle of small deals is rapidly growing into a stream of acquisitions as China's engineering, telecommunications equipment and white goods producers look for technical expertise and markets.
