President Barack Obama on Thursday hailed what he said was a tentative agreement that could help diminish tensions over Tehran’s nuclear programme after the most extensive US-Iranian talks in 30 years.

Speaking at the White House after the end of international negotiations in Geneva, Mr Obama said the US was looking for swift and concrete action by Tehran after a day of constructive talks.
