Rise in domestic sales but economy still weak

Business confidence and domestic sales improved in the final quarter of last year but the economy remains weak, according to the British Chambers of Commerce.

The BCC's latest quarterly survey dovetails with other recent evidence suggesting that growth is picking up but remains fragile.
