Hochtief attacks ECB over HQ plan

Plans by the European Central Bank for a new headquarters in Frankfurt have been criticised as “adventurous” and likely to get out of control by the head of Germany’s largest construction company.

The ECB last month re-launched the tendering process for a prestigious building located on the site of Frankfurt’s Großmarkthalle, a large 1920s former wholesale vegetable market.
