Turner remains in frame for top FSA role

Adair Turner has declined to rule himself out of the running to become the next chairman of the City watchdog - a job the former CBI chief has been strongly tipped for - despite reaffirming his commitment to his current position.

Although the frontrunner for the top job at the Financial Services Authority, there are concerns about the amount of time Lord Turner could devote to the job.
