Call for Saudi labour law reform

Human Rights Watch has asked the Saudi authorities to implement reforms in order to protect foreign domestic workers from abuse that could amount to slavery in some cases.

The organisation says that while some foreign workers report positive employment experiences in the kingdom, many speak of non-payment of wages, forced confinement, violence or rape.
