Security matters: Startling differences in attitude to safety around the globe

What should a CIO do if more than half their staff think it OK to change security settings on a company computer? What about allowing family members, or even friends, to share a work-issued PC?

Such questions might sound ridiculous to IT executives in countries such as the US and Germany. Yet such behaviour is unremarkable, even commonplace, in countries such as China, India and Brazil.
