Ford to draw bank credit of $10.1bn

Ford Motor revealed on Thursday that is drawing down $10.1bn from its credit lines from its banks because of “concerns about the instability of the capital markets”.

Although Detroit’s second-largest automaker also reported a record $14.6bn full-year loss. it insisted the move to tap “revolving” credit facilities was not driven by immediate cash needs.
