Antitrust officials yesterday raided the offices of Velux, the Danish-based roof window manufacturer, as well as those of certain distributors, because of concerns over possible anti-competitive sales practices in Europe's €1.65bn ($2.33bn) roof window market.
A European Commission statement said only the "unannounced inspections" had occurred at the premises of "producers and distributors of roof windows and roof windows accessories", and did not identify any of the businesses concerned.
