Donald Trump is going ahead with development of a £1bn golf resort near Aberdeen even though Trump Entertainment Resorts, the casino company he founded, filed for bankruptcy.
The Trump Organisation said the Scottish project would be “unaffected” by the filing but it would be at least 2013 before any housing was completed on the coastal development.
