IoD seeks limit on Walker reforms

Proposed sweeping reforms to bankers’ bonuses and risk-taking in the financial sector should not be imposed on the rest of corporate Britain, the Institute of Directors said on Monday.

In its first detailed response to Sir David Walker’s review of corporate governance in finance, the IoD said some of the recommendations were too prescriptive and should not be applied to companies outside the financial sector.
