Former KBR chief faces jail over bribe case

The former chief executive of Kellogg, Brown & Root, an engineering, construction, and services company, on Wednesday pleaded guilty to participating in a decade-long scheme to bribe Nigerian government officials and to receiving kickbacks.

Albert “Jack” Stanley faces seven years in prison and a payment of $10.8m in restitution under the plea agreement reached with prosecutors, the US Department of Justice said on Wednesday.
