Professional services: Bringing it all back home as flight of talent ends

The recent spate of new head office buildings for Liverpool law firms such as Hill Dickinson, Brabners Chaffe Street, and DWF is one of the most tangible signs of the renewed vibrancy of Liverpool’s professional services, long a cornerstone of the Merseyside economy.

The sector is made up of more than 2,500 businesses employing more than 35,000 people. Firms ranging from accountants, actuaries and architects to solicitors, stockbrokers and shipping agents are estimated to account for a fifth of Liverpool’s economy.
