Jobs to stand for re-election at Disney

Walt Disney was drawn into the controversy over Steve Jobs’ health problems on Friday when it revealed the chief executive of Apple, who stepped down this week for health reasons, was standing for re-election to its board.

Mr Jobs has been a board member of Disney since 2006, when the media company paid $7.4bn for Pixar, the animation studio behind films including Toy Story and The Incredibles.
