Sainsbury in the dark over 10% stake

J Sainsbury was still in the dark on Friday over the whereabouts of 10 per cent of its stock, two days after Robert Tchenguiz was forced to rapidly unwind his stake following the collapse of the Icelandic banking system.

The retailer was furious on Friday night it had not been notified where the shares were, having spent two days trying to locate the stock.
