Turquoise sets launch date

Turquoise, one of four new equity trading platforms emerging in Europe, has set a firm date for its highly anticipated launch as the platform gears up to challenge established exchanges in the region.

Eli Lederman, chief executive, told an industry conference that the platform, backed by a number of large investment banks, would start by offering 300 stocks across 14 European markets on September 5.
