PARIS, Aug 26 - Suez Environnement lowered its full-year sales and core earnings targets on Wednesday as a sharp drop in waste collection pushed the French environmental services group’s first-half profits lower.
The world’s second-biggest water and waste management group behind Veolia said it now expected “overall stability” in 2009 sales and earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation at constant exchange rates.
