M&S chief faces gruelling AGM

Ever since Marks and Spencer clashed with some of its biggest shareholders over Sir Stuart Rose’s elevation to executive chairman, the retailer’s annual meeting has been circled as a must-see on the corporate calendar.

But last week’s profit warning and the 25 per cent fall in the share price on the day, has turned it from light entertainment into a show stopper.
