Sir, In your article “Rich countries show ‘lack of resolve’ on graft” (FT.com, September 23) on the launch of the Transparency International 2008 Corruption Perceptions Index, you erroneously quoted the organisation as claiming: “ ... high levels of corruption would add some $50bn ... to the cost of achieving the UN's millennium development goals by 2015”.
