Thanks to the bosses of the big three US car manufacturers, corporate aviation is in the doghouse in Washington. But business-jet operators looking for solace amid the political backlash that hit the industry last year might find some comfort listening to The Jonas Brothers, the chirpy band that is a favourite of President Barack Obama’s daughters, Malia and Sasha.
In a promotional video, the three members of the Evangelical Christian band wax lyrical about their love for NetJets, the fractional operator. “Without NetJets, we could not do what we do every single day,” the heartthrobs gush.
