Hanwha chairman sentence suspended

A South Korean court on Tuesday suspended a prison term for the head of the Hanwha Group, a South Korean conglomerate, over a conviction for his retaliation against bar workers involved in a fight with his son.

The Seoul Central District Court suspended Kim Seung-youn’s 18-month prison sentence for three years, citing his poor health.
