Radovan Karadzic, the Bosnian Serb leader during the 1992-1995 war, declined to enter pleas on genocide and war crimes charges on Tuesday, insisting he was shielded from prosecution by an immunity agreement.
“I’m not going to enter any plea at all,” Mr Karadzic told the United Nations tribunal for the former Yugoslavia at his latest pre-trial hearing. “This tribunal does not have any right to try me.”
