Tube strike will cause massive disruption

London Underground faces serious disruption next month from planned strikes by workers at Metronet, the failed contractor responsible for maintaining more than two-thirds of the network, unions said on Thursday.

Metronet went into administration last month after securing only £121m of the £551m emergency funding it said it needed to carry on.
