Sunni anger over bungling of execution

Iraq executed Saddam Hussein’s co-defendants on Monday, eliciting fresh controversy after it was revealed that one of the executions was bungled.

Barzan al-Tikriti, Saddam’s half brother, and Awadh al-Bandar, a revolutionary court judge, were hanged before dawn.
