Arriva, the bus and train operator, on Thursday said it expected to fulfil its predictions of achieving a 50 per cent increase in sales and improving revenue growth for the full year.

In a trading update, the group said revenue growth at its UK bus operations were stable at 6.3 per cent on provincial services and 4.5 per cent in London. Sales in continental Europe were up 50 per cent for the 11 months to November 30.
