Sir, What is Tehran's price for helping the United States in Iraq? This question has dominated the debate in Washington after the Iraq Study Group recommended opening unconditional talks with Iran. While stay-the-course hawks argue that Tehran's price is too high, few have cared to ask the real question at hand: What is the price of not talking to Iran?
