Court rejects FCC broadcast decency limit

A US appeals court on Monday overruled federal regulators who decided that expletives said on broadcast television violated decency standards and set an ”arbitrary and capricious” new standard for indecency.

The court sent the matter back to the Federal Communications Commission for further proceedings to clarify its policy.
