Fresh salvo launched in war of words

Alexander Medvedev, Gazprom’s combative deputy chief executive, on Tuesday attacked Ukraine’s leaders for “playing political games” in the gas dispute.

Meanwhile, Vadim Karasyov, an adviser in Kiev’s presidential administration, criticised Russia for trying to “portray Ukraine as an unstable and unreliable partner for Europe”.
