ScS investors braced for emergency sale

ScS Upholstery is looking to secure its survival with a sale after the sofa retailer’s emergency capital-raising talks ran out of steam, with £5.5m of rent due on Tuesday.

Shareholders are likely to lose virtually all their investment after the retailer said any sale “may result in only negligible value being attributed to the shares”.
