Indonesian ministers sworn in

Indonesia’s new ministers were sworn in on Thursday with 17 of the 37-member cabinet drawn from the professional ranks and the majority political appointees designed to draw together President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono’s coalition.

The cabinet – announced late Wednesday evening – comprises old faces in some of the most important slots, as well as more controversial additions.
