US The White House on Friday night said it was considering drawing up its own healthcare reform bill, following widespread criticism of Barack Obama’s strategy of outsourcing the increasingly anarchic drafting process to Congress.
”The president has been reviewing all of the various legislative proposals, but no decision has been made about whether formal legislation will be presented,” said a senior White House official.
