IT role model: A pace-setter for the Olympics

When London was announced as the host city for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in July 2005, Michele Hyron might have been forgiven for feeling a twinge of disappointment.

As a key member of the team at Atos Origin, an IT systems integration company that builds and delivers the technology infrastructure for each Olympic Games, she has spent the best part of a decade living and working in every host city during that period, including Salt Lake City, Athens and Beijing.
