Business education: HKUST is open to competition

The global financial crisis is changing the way business education is viewed and making people think seriously before committing tens of thousands of dollars to a course. But Leonard Cheng is not worried.

While the business school of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, headed by Prof Cheng, has seen a slight drop in applications for part-time graduate programmes, waiting lists for full-time courses have grown.
