In his Delaware college days, Dave DeWalt was a champion wrestler. Today, as chief executive of security software group McAfee, he faces infinitely more dangerous opponents – the shadowy criminals who roam the lawless badlands of cyberspace.

It is a role he clearly relishes: “This company has such a noble cause,” he says. “I love the technology, I love the business and I love the noble cause of security. We are helping to put criminals away and behind bars.
