The skies above the Atlantic look set to become even more congested after Virgin Atlantic confirmed it plans to launch a business-only service connecting a number of European and US cities.

Virgin’s announcement follows a similar pledge by British Airways last month when the carrier said it planned an all-premium transatlantic service .
