Black trial jury denied transcript

The judge overseeing the criminal fraud trial against Conrad Black rejected a request by jurors, who began deliberations this week, to review transcripts of testimony from a prosecution witness.

Judge Amy St Eve told jurors in a note that they would have to rely on their notes and recollection of testimony by Jonathan Rosenberg, a New York-based attorney at O’Melveny & Myers who worked for the special committee of Hollinger International’s board during an internal investigation at the newspaper publishing group.
