PM asks Iceland central bank chiefs to quit

REYKJAVIK, Feb 2 (Reuters) - Johanna Sigurdardottir, Iceland’s new prime minister, said on Monday she had written to the three governors of the country’s central bank about them departing soon.

”I have written a letter to the three bank managers of the central bank where I have requested that we would come to an agreement about their retirement as soon as possible,” Ms Sigurdardottir said on Icelandic television.
