Petrobras strike threat pushes up crude price

Oil prices rose on Thursday as workers at Brazil’s biggest oil company threatened to go on strike next week.

A union of Petrobras employees in the Campos basin – where 80 per cent of Brazil’s oil is produced – said that they would shut down rigs to press for better pay.
