BBC seeks views on rude language

The BBC wants audiences to tell it whether and when it can use the most obscene language in its programming, the broadcaster’s governing body said on Wednesday.

A 190-page draft of the revised Editorial Guidelines that all producers at the BBC must observe was put on the internet and licence fee payers were invited to comment on the measures it enshrines.
