Baghdad bombings shatter normality

Seven car bombs struck markets, a police convoy and a group of workers in Shia Muslim neighbourhoods in Baghdad on Monday, killing 37 people and wounding more than 140 in one of the most violent days in the city in months.

The bombings shattered the semblance of normality that had returned to the Iraqi capital in recent months.
