Pakistan was hit by a suicide bomb attack on Tuesday that killed at least 30 people and lead security officials to warn that the country’s urban centres are now facing an unprecedented terrorist threat.
The attack, a car bombing in the town of Charsadda in the volatile north west frontier province, was the 16th on an urban centre in the last six weeks. More than 200 people have died in the violence with scores injured.
