Asian stocks slip on investor caution

The region’s major equitymarkets lost ground yesterday after a flat session overnight on Wall Street and worries about the strength of the global economic rebound encouraged traders to take profits.

Japanese stocks were particularly weak, hurt by the stronger tone of the yen and as concerns arose from news that China is considering measures to curb investment growth.
