Jackson will names non-family executors

A 2002 will for Michael Jackson, the singer who died on Thursday, has named the lawyer who struck some of his most lucrative deals and an old family friend as the two individuals most likely to decide the future of his $500m-plus fortune.

The filing of the will prompted an immediate court hearing, as it contradicted a court decision on Monday to make Katherine Jackson, the singer’s mother, interim administrator of the estate.
