Hard journey for transport operators

Transport operators are showing signs of being affected by the economic downturn. Falling employment in the City of London means falling commuter numbers and lower revenues from fares.

Go-Ahead, National Express and Arriva, which are all dependent on commuter numbers in London, will update the market tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.
