McCain vows anti-drug projects with Mexico

John McCain, the Republican US presidential candidate, on Thursday ended a 24-hour visit to Mexico promising that as president he would ensure greater co-operation with the US’s neighbour in its war against drugs.

The senator for Arizona also said that once in office he would tighten security on the US southern border before embarking on ”a comprehensive immigration reform”.
