Bond insurers’ ratings in focus

Four of the world’s largest financial guarantors risk losing their top-notch credit ratings unless they strengthen their capital reserves and review their business strategies, Moody’s said late on Friday.

Moody’s put FGIC and Security Capital Assurance on watch for possible downgrade, and cut its ratings outlook on MBIA and CIFG to negative.
