Oil prices fell on Wednesday following a pointed warning from Opec that the market faced “considerable risks” as fundamentals were “far from balanced”.
ICE June Brent dropped 60 cents to settle at $57.34 a barrel, while Nymex June West Texas Intermediate lost 83 cents to $58.02 a barrel after reaching a session high of of $59.90 and failing to breach the $60 level.
